MHSA to launch in February 2019

The Medical School’s latest degree, a Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA), has recently received accreditation from the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (DI.P.A.E.) and will launch in the Spring semester of 2019.

The programme will be delivered through distance learning, allowing either full-time or part-time study and making it ideal for both working professionals and new graduates.

The rapidly growing and ever-changing field of healthcare requires highly trained professionals who will ultimately improve patient care through best management practices. The MHSA rigorously prepares students for a leadership position in healthcare, both locally and globally.  It can help advance career opportunities in a multitude of healthcare organisations, including hospitals, government agencies, clinics, pharmaceutical companies, insurance firms, non-governmental organisations and biotechnology firms.

The programme’s multidisciplinary curriculum addresses clinical, economic, ethical, political, technical, social and environmental challenges.  Its innovative curriculum allows students to gain an in-depth understanding of financial management, research methods, human resource management, operational practices, health information systems management and clinical leadership.
