Dr. Solon Magrizos

Dr Solon Magrizos Associate Professor in Marketing, UNIC Athens Dr Solon Magrizos is an Associate Professor in Marketing at UNIC Athens and an Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Birmingham, where he served as Programme Director of the Distance Learning MBA (2020-2025). He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Global Responsibility. His main research interests include issues related to responsible companies and responsible consumers, CSR with a focus on small-to-medium and social enterprises, sustainable tourism, and responsible employment. He has published his work in various highly ranked (including ABS 4* and FT50) journals such as Journal of Travel Research, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Sustainable Tourism, Human Resource Management, Psychology & Marketing, Information Technology and People, Business Strategy and the Environment, and others. He also serves on the editorial board of Corporate Communications: An International Journal and has recently co-guest edited special issues for European Management Review, Journal of Business Research and Human Resource Management. He holds a PhD from the Athens University of Economics and Business, an MBA from Brandeis International Business School (USA) and a PGCert in Higher Education from the University of Birmingham. He has taught marketing, business ethics and responsible HRM at undergraduate, MSc and MBA level in the UK, Greece and Singapore.
