
Dr Evangelia Liouta

Evangelia Liouta is an Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology at the University of Nicosia Medical school, Athens.
Dr Liouta earned a BSc (Hons) in in Psychology from the University of Greenwich, UK, subsequently she obtained an MSc in Neuropsychology from the University of Bristol, UK and then she obtained her doctorate in Clinical Neurosciences from the Medical School of the University of Tubingen, Germany.
Her research interests are in the field of clinical neuropsychology applications in neurosurgical setting. She is particularly interested in using neuropsychological and neuroimaging assessment in order to diagnose and prognose neurocognitive (dys)functions in brain tumor patients pre and post-operatively, as well as to identify and map neurocognitive functions during awake craniotomy. She is also interested in the neurocognitive phenotype of idiopathic Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus and its potential to predict post- treatment clinical outcomes.
