Dr. Ioannis Kastanas graduated from the Law School of Athens (EKPA). From the same institution, he has acquired an LLM and a PhD degree. Moreover, he has acquired an M2 Droit Public Approfondi from the Université Paris 2 Panthéon Assas. At the present time he is teaching as part-time lecturer at the Law School of the University of Nicosia. His research areas include Canonical Law, Law and Religions, Fundamental Rights and Public Law. He has authored on the above areas in the Scientific Journals Nomokanonika and Theory and Praxis of Public Law, as well in collective volumes etc
