ISTD (Imperial Society of Dance Teachers, UK) exemptions for University of Nicosia Dance Students
The Dance Programme of the University of Nicosia is thrilled to announce an official collaboration with Evi’s School of Dance in Limassol, in order to provide training to our students and alumni for the ISTD Level 4 Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) at exclusive prices only for UNIC students and graduates. Evi’s School of Dance is an Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Approved Dance Center.
ISTD has granted ALL UNIC Dance students and graduates exemptions from 2 out of 5 Units, which of course vastly lowers the cost and saves time in the certification process. All UNIC students will be awarded exemptions from the DDE training and certification, provided that they have successfully passed the courses. Students will have to submit a transcript showing their grades for the exemptions to be granted.
ISTD is based in the UK but one of the major international dance systems, which allows certified dance teachers to teach their material and enter students for examinations, which gain them UCAS points. It is probably the most widely taught system, particularly in Cyprus.
