Cambridge Vet Dean becomes UNIC Vet Dean

UNIC Health is proud to announce the appointment of Professor Michael Herrtage as the new Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine.

Professor Herrtage brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role, having previously served as Dean of the University of Cambridge Veterinary School and overseeing Small Animal Medicine and Diagnostic Imaging services at the Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital.

Throughout his distinguished career, Professor Herrtage has held numerous prestigious positions, including President of the British Small Animal Veterinary Association, President of the European Society of Veterinary Internal Medicine, and President of the European Board of Veterinary Specializations. He is a Diplomate of both the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging, and has also served as President of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.

With a special interest in endocrine and metabolic disorders, Professor Herrtage has made significant contributions to the field, publishing over 200 articles in refereed journals. His experience and dedication to veterinary medicine make him the ideal candidate to lead the University of Nicosia School of Veterinary Medicine.
