UNIC and Cardet Announce Two Scholarships to the University’s PhD in Education Sciences

The University of Nicosia and the international research centre CARDET announce two (2) fully funded PhD Scholarships for the Academic Year 2021-2022.

Selected candidates will work in one or a combination of the following research areas:

  • XR, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, computational thinking, and data analytics in digital learning environments: Implications for learning design.
  • STEAM education, non-formal and informal learning for sustainable development.
  • Systemic education reform with focus on teacher professional development, PBIS, positive education, resilience, and well-being.

Part of the scholarship entails that candidates will work on international research projects under the joint supervision of the CARDET team and UNIC faculty. A stipend will be provided, depending on hours of engagement and experience.

The prospective doctoral students will need to apply to the School of Education, follow the University of Nicosia application process and regulations, and indicate on their application that they are interested to be considered for one of these scholarships.
