University of Nicosia Develops ENA Self-Reflection Tool to Support Students’ Learning Needs
At the University of Nicosia, our work in the Erasmus+ ENA project focuses on an important question: what helps students learn well, and what makes learning more difficult? As part of this contribution, we have developed the ENA Student Self Awareness Tool, entitled ‘Understanding My Learning Needs and Helpful Changes’. The tool is designed to help students reflect on their strengths, preferences, barriers, and the changes that may support their learning in areas such as teaching, environment, assessment, timing, and support.
Importantly, this is not a test or a diagnosis. It is a practical self-reflection resource that can be used individually, or as a starting point for constructive conversations with faculty, tutors, and student support services. Through this work, the University of Nicosia contributes to ENA’s wider goal of helping higher education become more inclusive, responsive, and supportive for neurodiverse students and students with hidden disabilities.
