UNIC Study: Understanding your needs about pregnancy wellbeing and feeding babies

Are you a new-mother or a mother-to-be? If yes, then the University of Nicosia invites you participate in a study which will aim to explore and understand your wants, needs, and ideas about wellbeing in pregnancy and about feeding your infant.

The study will be carried out through two separate focus groups:

  • Group one will be composed of expecting mothers in the third trimester of pregnancy.
  • Group two will include mothers of babies 6 to 12 months old.

Participation is voluntary and confidential. The focus groups will be in Greek and English and will be held online. The meeting will last about 2 hours.

The Focus Groups in Greek will be conducted virtually at 6-8 pm on 24th and 29th June 2021.

The Focus Groups in English will be conducted virtually at 6-8 pm on 6th and 8th July 2021.

By participating, you will be helping in a larger study to develop material for an educational intervention programme for mothers on (a) their diet during pregnancy and (b) the diet of their child in the first year of life.
