UNIC Global Training students achieve Joint 1st Place in the World in the ICAEW exams
UNIC Global Training is proud to announce that two of our students have achieved the outstanding distinction of joint first place in the world in the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) Case Study examination and have been awarded the prestigious Whinney Prize.
We warmly congratulate Despoina Polyviou and Katerina Stavrou, both from Cyprus and employed by Deloitte Ltd, on this exceptional global achievement. Their success reflects not only their individual talent, dedication and hard work, but also the high standards of professional education and support provided throughout their studies.
We extend our sincere appreciation to their lecturer, Anthony Uzum, whose expert guidance and commitment played a vital role in preparing the students for this demanding examination. We also congratulate their employer, Deloitte Cyprus, for fostering an environment that enables young professionals to excel at the highest international level.
The ICAEW Case Study is one of the most rigorous final-stage examinations in the global accountancy profession. In recent sittings, several thousand candidates from around the world have sat this paper, drawn from ICAEW’s international student community spanning approximately 150 countries. To secure joint first place against such strong worldwide competition is a remarkable accomplishment.
This latest success continues the strong tradition of UNIC Global Training students delivering outstanding results in the ICAEW examinations. Year after year, our candidates achieve remarkable pass rates and secure multiple worldwide prizes in these difficult, globally recognised assessments. Such achievements reaffirm the quality of our programmes and the excellence of the professionals we help develop.
We are immensely proud of their accomplishments and look forward to celebrating many more successes in the future.
