Top Graduates of the Department of Engineering, University of Nicosia

Awarded by the Association of Consulting Electrical, Mechanical & Energy Engineers

On Thursday, 26 June 2025, the Association of Consulting Electrical, Mechanical & Energy Engineers of Cyprus honoured two outstanding graduates from the Department of Engineering at the University of Nicosia for their academic performance, but primarily for the exceptional quality of their final year projects. Association member Mr. Costas Moysis, on behalf of the Board of Directors, presented the awards to the students, Stefania Germena (Mechanical Engineering program) and Bogdan Reshetnikov (Electrical Engineering program).

The presentation of these distinctions highlights the Association’s commitment to recognising the effort and consistency of recent graduates in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering. These graduates stood out for achieving high grades throughout all their years of study, as well as for the excellence of their final year projects.

The Association reinforced the award with a monetary prize, thus acknowledging the scientific dedication and professionalism of the awardees.

It is also noteworthy that both graduates will continue their academic journey with postgraduate studies at distinguished universities in Central Europe.
