Dr. Pelagia Soultatou holds a PhD in Health Promotion and Education from King’s College London, an MSc in Health Promotion and Public Health from Brunel University, a BA in Sociology from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences,
Her research focuses on sociology of health, health policy, social determinants of health, vulnerability and refugee health. She is particularly interested in the design, implementation and evaluation of public health policies , the governance of health systems, and the intersection of health policy with social protection and community well-being.
