Renewal of strategic partnership between School of Veterinary Medicine & Cyprus Veterinary Services

The University of Nicosia School of Veterinary Medicine announces the renewal of its collaboration with the Cyprus Veterinary Services for the next six years.

The extended agreement, which will remain in effect until October 2030, further strengthens the partnership between the two organisations in education, research, and clinical practice.

The agreement was signed by Professor Andreas Charalambous, Executive Vice President of Health at the University of Nicosia, and Dr Christodoulos Pipis, Director of the Cyprus Veterinary Services.

Professor Andreas Charalambous emphasized that ‘This collaboration represents a vital cornerstone for veterinary student education and makes a substantial contribution to advancing veterinary science and public health in Cyprus. It also affirms the successful partnership between both institutions and our shared commitment to advancing veterinary education and research in Cyprus.’

Dr Christodoulos Pipis stated that ‘This extension reaffirms our continuous dedication to promoting high-level veterinary education in Cyprus. Together, we aim to continue providing practical education, training and postgraduate development opportunities for veterinary medicine students at the University of Nicosia while maintaining high standards in both animal care and welfare, as well as public health.’
