Dr Aliki Peletidi

Dr Aliki Peletidi is a Lecturer in Applied Pharmacy Practice including Clinical Pharmacy and Social Pharmacy as well as Public Health at the University of Nicosia since September 2017. Aliki graduated from Kingston University London with an MPharm degree with Honours taught collaboratively with the St Georges University of London and she is a registered pharmacist in the UK, Greece, and Cyprus. She is a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (MRPharmS) and a FIP member. Furthermore, Aliki conducted her PhD in the field of Public Health, Applied Pharmacy Practice (mainly pharmacy-led services), and Social Pharmacy at Kingston University London. Furthermore, Dr Peletidi designed, delivered, and evaluated the first pharmacy-led service conducted by Greek pharmacists, which is already published. She is also certified to conduct Medication Use Reviews (MURs) from the University of Reading, and she also gained a Certificate in Obesity Management at a postgraduate level (level 7) from the same university. Aliki is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) and SEDA and she is currently applying to become a Senior Fellow (SFHEA). In addition, Dr Peletidi translated into Greek the “Pharmacy Practice” book edited by Geoffrey Harding and Kevin M.G. Taylor.

Besides the above role, Aliki is the Academic Director at the Federation of Co-operative Pharmacists of Greece (ΟΣΦΕ) and she is responsible for the lifelong education/training of the Co-operative pharmacists in Greece further and also for the development and evaluation of the pharmacy-led public health services. She is also an adjunct faculty at the Pharmacy School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki teaching Pharmacy practice modules. Finally, she is a visiting lecturer in the area of Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Pharmacy at the Pharmacy School of Newcastle University in the UK.
