UNIC Medical Centre launches new website and expands facilities

The University of Nicosia Medical Centre (UNMC) has launched a new bilingual website, providing students, faculty and members of the wider community with easier access to information about the Centre and its healthcare services.

Designed to provide a convenient and user-friendly experience, the website makes it easier for visitors to find a doctor, book an appointment, register as a patient, and find information about the Centre’s services and doctors. It features an online appointment booking system and a detailed service price list, and provides useful resources on medical conditions and minor illnesses.

The portal also offers several other online services, such as requesting repeat referrals, medicine prescriptions and sick certificates from the Centre’s personal doctors.

The launch of the new website comes as the Medical Centre continues to expand its services and facilities. New doctors’ offices have recently been added at the Nicosia Centre, increasing its capacity to accommodate patients and further support the healthcare needs of the University community.

The Medical Centre offers a range of primary and specialist healthcare services, including general practice, cardiology, gynaecology, neurology, general surgery and other specialist services, alongside diagnostic and preventive healthcare services.

The University of Nicosia Medical Centre operates under the Cyprus General Healthcare System (GHS) and serves the primary healthcare needs of the University of Nicosia community and the broader population. With locations in Nicosia and Ormideia, the Centre is involved in research in family medicine and public health, while also serving as a training ground for University of Nicosia medical students.
