Vasos Georgiou

Vasos Georgiou has studied Law at the University of Athens. He attended a postgraduate program at the University of Cranfield, UK, in 1990. With a scholarship from UNESCO, he was trained in teaching techniques at the Letchworth State Institute UK, in 1972. He also holds diplomas from the College of Professional Management, UK, in Principles of Management, Office Administration and Personnel Management.
He has worked for the Electricity Authority of Cyprus from 1969-1971, in various managerial positions. From 2001-2008 he was the Director of the Office of the President of the House of Representatives and from 2008-2010 the Director of the Office of the President of the Republic.
In 2012 he published the book “Public Administration in Cyprus” and in 2016 the book “Introduction to Sports Law”.
He has been teaching at the MIM since 2005 and at the University of Nicosia since 2012.
