The School of Business of the University of Nicosia invites submissions for the PhD Colloquium, 12-13 April 2019.
The two-day colloquium seeks to provide the opportunity to doctoral students to present their work in progress, to engage with other doctoral students from different parts of the world, and to receive feedback from fellow students, but also from faculty members and visiting scholars.
SUBMISSIONS
Please send your single authored extended abstract (max. 5 pages, Times New Roman 12 font, 1.5 line space, and 1-inch (2.5cm) margin all around) including the following titles:
- Introduction
- Relevance/contribution of proposed research (could be theoretical, empirical, practical)
- Theoretical framework (key literature you are considering and basing your research on)
- Methodological approach/ed and method/s proposed or used
- Empirical findings (if any yet)
- Discussion and conclusions (if any yet)
- References

Welcome Reception
A welcome cocktail for the colloquium will take place on Friday, 12 April 2019.
Presentations
All presentations will take place at M115 and M106, Millennium Building, University of Nicosia on Saturday 13 April 2019, 9:00-18:00
Cultural Tour
Colloquium Participants will be able to choose between the two options below:
- Option 1: Two-night trip to Beirut, Lebanon, 13-15 April. The flight on the 13th is a night flight. Day trip to Beirut is included.
- Option 2: One-day excursion in Limassol, Cyprus, 14 April. The trip also includes wine tasting.
During the excursion, lunch and entry to archaeological sites is included.
* Both options are optional and not included in the participation price of the Colloquium
