The University of Nicosia announces the Ceremony for the Award of an Honorary Doctoral Degree to Professor David Sinclair, to be held on Friday, 5 June 2026, at 19:00, at Discovery Hall, University of Nicosia.

During the ceremony, Professor Sinclair will be awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy Honoris Causa in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Aging Research, Longevity Science and Human Healthspan.

This event marks an important academic occasion for the University of Nicosia and honours the work of an internationally renowned scientist whose research has made a substantial contribution to advancing knowledge in the fields of ageing and human health.

The ceremony will be held in English. Guests are kindly requested to be seated by 18:45.
