The European Beat Studies Network is hosting its annual conference this week at ARTos Foundation with the support of the Department of Languages and Literature of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Nicosia.

There will be academic panels on a range of topics pertaining to travel, migration, the Beats and the influence of the Beats, a film screening of Maren Wickwire’s “Together Apart,” performances by conference delegates and poets from Cyprus.

While you must register online or at the door for the academic conference, the poetry evening on Saturday, October 12, is free and open to the public.
