AI Evolve Training
This training is designed to provide faculty and staff with hands-on practice, creating a practical and engaging experience in the use of various AI models within UNIC’s Evolve platform.
The session begins with a short introduction, followed by a clear overview of the Evolve platform. Participants are introduced to its main features, including navigation, the PowerFlow suite, chat functionality, and the different AI models available.
Another key feature of the platform is the My Files app and its integration with PowerFlow and the AI models. This feature allows participants to upload their own materials to the platform for cloud storage. More importantly, My Files enables participants to use their files directly in prompts and send different file formats to the chat within PowerFlow. Users can also upload content from websites, save images, and generate summaries.
Within the PowerFlow suite, participants are guided through prompt design and real examples, allowing them to see how everything comes together. They also learn how to navigate their chats, export outputs, and share prompts with colleagues. The training explores the AI models and chat usage in more detail, showing how different models can be used for different purposes, along with simple techniques for writing effective prompts.
Practical examples demonstrate how small changes in instructions can lead to better and more relevant outputs, such as drafting everyday emails, summarising reports, and more. This is also where personas are introduced, demonstrating how they can be created and applied within chats. Participants see how different tones or roles can influence responses and produce more tailored and specialised outputs.
The final part of the session focuses on creating visual content, such as images and videos, showing participants how to quickly create their own materials and use them effectively in teaching and communication.
Overall, this training approach is designed to be clear and practical, helping faculty and staff make the most of UNIC’s AI Evolve platform in their everyday tasks.
