The Medical and Veterinary School Student Societies,  with the support of faculty from UNIC Health, are organizing the 2026 University of Nicosia Health Student Research Conference (UNIC Health SRC).

The conference will take place on Wednesday, 18 March 2026, at the Discovery Amphitheatre of the University of Nicosia, from 08:30 to 17:30.

Aiming to strengthen UNIC Health’s research-oriented culture, the conference offers students the opportunity to present their work to peers through oral and e-poster presentations.

This year’s conference features 10 student oral presentations and 12 e-poster presentations on topics ranging from genomics to cardiovascular health, as well as the student project that won the 2025 Junior Achievement StartUp Programme and represented Cyprus at the Gen-E 2025 European Entrepreneurship Festival in Athens last July.

At the end of the conference, a committee will select the ‘Best Oral Presentation’ and ‘Best e-Poster Presentation’, while attendees will be able to vote for the ‘Students’ Choice Award’ through an online voting process.
