Aristomenis Dimitrios Tourvas is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nicosia Medical School.
He holds a Medical Degree (MD) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School. He is a Specialist in Internal Medicine and Intensive Care. He also holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Ultrasound from the University of Melbourne, an MSc in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Aberdeen(awarded with commendation), an MSc in Information and Communication Systems from Cyprus Open University (Thesis: Use of biosensors for the detection of stress and experimental analysis of galvanic skin response signal), and an MSc in Obesity and Weight Management from the University of South Wales (awarded with Distinction).
Furthermore, he is SCOPE-certified by the World Obesity Federation and has obtained certificates of continuing education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Clinical Nutrition, Eating Disorders, and the Basic Principles of Obesity Management in Adults.
His practice covers the entire range of Internal Medicine, including Obesity Management, as well as Intensive Care.
