The Department of Politics and Governance of the University of Nicosia is hosting the Virtual Info Session: Dimensions of Public Administration Today, exploring two critical issues shaping contemporary public governance in an increasingly digital and uncertain world. The Info Session will take place on Thursday, 09 July 2026, between 18:00-19:00 (EEST) via Engageli.
The first presentation, “Data Protection and Digital Government: Administrative Law Challenges in the Public Sector,” examines the intersection of data protection and digital governance, addressing the legal and administrative challenges of delivering secure, transparent, and citizen-centered public services.
The second presentation, “From Strategic Planning to Strategic Adaptation: Building Resilient Public Governance in an Uncertain World,” focuses on how public organisations can enhance resilience and adaptive capacity in response to geopolitical, economic, technological, and societal change. It highlights the importance of strategic leadership and governance approaches that enable institutions to navigate uncertainty while sustaining democratic values, public trust, and long-term public value.
This Info Session offers valuable insights for academics, public administrators, policymakers, and professionals interested in the future of public administration and governance.
