Open Day at the University of Nicosia’s Mediazone studio for new and prospective students and the community

Mediazone, UNIC’s audiovisual hub, invites new and prospective students to its Open Day, “Mediazone Live”, a hands-on welcome experience in a working studio environment. Visitors can present, direct and operate cameras alongside Mediazone students and staff, and take part in a range of live media production formats.

The event will take place on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, between 10:00 and 17:00, at the Mediazone Television Production Studio, University of Nicosia main campus.

Step into the world of live production and content creation. Live broadcasts, podcasts, post-production showcases and professional-grade equipment are all open for you to explore. Try different production roles, use the equipment, and find your place behind or in front of the camera. Whether you are exploring your future as a media content creator or simply want to be part of something exciting, Mediazone Live offers a fun, interactive environment where creativity, teamwork, and storytelling come to life. This unique event puts you on air from the moment you walk in.

Open to everyone! No experience is needed, only curiosity!
