Mobile Clinic closes out academic year with an active second semester
The Mobile Clinic concluded the 2025–26 academic year with a busy second semester of community expeditions, health screenings and educational outreach across Cyprus.
Between January and June 2026, a total of 91 medical students participated in Mobile Clinic expeditions, providing health screenings and examinations to over 220 residents across Cyprus.

In February, it teamed up with UNIC’s Department of Student Affairs and the AIDS Solidarity Movement (Cy Checkpoint) to offer free, anonymous rapid HIV testing to the UNIC community on the main campus (read more) and in June it took part in Cyprus Pride, once again supporting the AIDS Solidarity Movement in providing HIV and STI testing to attendees.
Beyond health screenings, the Mobile Clinic Club, in collaboration with the Communications Office, extended its outreach to secondary education. Club members visited The English School (read more) and The Senior School (read more) in Nicosia to deliver educational presentations to high school students on nutrition and exercise, substance abuse and stress management.
From health checks and examinations in local communities to public health initiatives and school outreach, the Mobile Clinic continues to give UNIC medical students valuable opportunities to put their knowledge into practice while making a difference in communities across Cyprus.
