Evaluation
As part of each course, the assessment strategy includes a variety of methods such as assignment submissions, active participation in interactive activities (synchronous video conferences or asynchronous online quizzes and discussion forums), and written final exams. In most courses, final written exams account for the largest portion of the overall grade (60%), while assignment submissions account for 20% and participation in interactive activities and video conferences accounts for the remaining 20% of the overall grade.
The Programme is completed upon successful completion of all courses (a total of 90 credit units/ECTS). The minimum requirement for passing any course is 5.0/10.0. The grading scale for earning a degree is as follows:
- Excellent: Grade 8.50–10.00
- Very Good: Grade 6.50–8.49
- Good: Grade 5.00–6.49
The Assessment Plan, along with the Programme’s Study Guide, is provided to all incoming students at the beginning of the first semester during orientation week. During orientation week, students participate in a video conference with the Programme Coordinator to review the assessment requirements and regulations. Additionally, upon registration for each course, students receive the course syllabus and study guide.
