For students, course materials, deadlines, and are easy to find, with a familiar layout across all modules. For lecturers, routine tasks like posting announcements, reviewing submissions, and tracking engagement are simpler and quicker to manage.
The platform also includes built-in accessibility features through Blackboard Ally, allowing course content to be accessed in multiple formats.
Current and new Spring students, along with faculty, have already received or will receive their login credentials via email and can access Blackboard at learn.unic.ac.cy. All users retain access to Moodle, where materials from previous semesters will remain available for a limited period. Some joint degree* programmes will continue to use Moodle for their in-progress courses this academic year. Students in the Medical School and the School of Veterinary Medicine should refer to the specific guidance received by their course administrator. Those who haven’t been informed or are unsure should check with their administrator/advisor.
