Volunteers Needed: Your participation in the Nicosia Marathon matters!

The University of Nicosia is proud to be a Strategic Partner of the Nicosia Marathon, which will take place on 16 February.

As part of our partnership, all UNIC students are entitled to a 40% discount on any race fees, and UNIC is also participating in the 5K Corporate Race with a faculty and staff team.

Volunteers are essential to the success of any marathon. They are vital in providing a safe, organized and fun event. It is also a wonderful way to engage and participate in the community.

The Nicosia Marathon is currently looking for volunteers in the following roles:

1.Emergency First Responders*
2.Race Assistants (Start/Finish Line – General Duties)
3.Route Race Assistants (will be placed in the route to ensure the smooth movement of the athletes)
4.Physiotherapists (provide massage at the end of the race)

*Kindly note that those who are interested to volunteer as Emergency First Responders will be provided with the respective training for FREE. The training will take place this coming weekend, 26-27 January and another one will be arranged in the coming days for those who might declare their interest later than that. Further information regarding the time and place will be sent to those interested.

All volunteers will receive a Certificate, Recommendation Letter and Race Medal.
