Dr Christina Theodoulidou is a Registered Counselling Psychologist. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Greece, she completed a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology in the United Kingdom. She has worked for a number of years in the English National Health Service, initially as a Specialist Psychologist and consequently as a Senior Psychologist. Her clinical interests are mainly in the field of adult psychopathology and most of her working experience has been within multidisciplinary community mental health teams. She has experience in working with a wide range of psychological difficulties and has worked in various organisations over the years, in primary, secondary and tertiary care, as well as in the non-statutory sector. Dr Theodoulidou has been involved in offering clinical supervision to doctoral psychology trainees and qualified staff as well as consultation to mental health services. Her research interests include trauma and its impact on couples’ relationship. Currently, she is part of the adjunct faculty and has a private practice in Nicosia, Cyprus.
