My unique / UNIC story started 4 years ago with Graphic Design and ended with Fine Arts. With the support of friends and family, and the help from my advisor, Dr Evanthia Tselika, I gained more confidence in my art, focusing on Video Art. Having the freedom to come up with my own themes for my projects was very challenging but worth going through because this is how you become independent and ready for the real world. Since I joined the Student Scholarship Programme at Mediazone – the audio visual hub of the university, I earned hands-on, practical experience, while working alongside media industry professionals. I will never forget the feeling of going out to shoot an event on my own; being trusted to represent the University. Throughout my degree, I discovered that I really enjoy collaborating, and since the production of videos has traditionally been a matter of group work, I would like to continue working on creative projects through video. If I met myself 4 years ago, I would encourage me to trust the people I would meet here at UNIC and let the self-discovery begin!
