Stergios Mitas holds a PhD degree in Philosophy of Law, from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is an LLM Graduate, from the aforementioned School, in Public Law and Political Science, and holds a Certificate of Pedagogical and Teaching Competence from the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education. From 2014 onwards, he is teaching as an Assistant Professor in Legal Philosophy and Methodology at the University of Nicosia. His research interests lie in the fields of Legal Theory and Methodology, Legal and Moral Philosophy, Fundamental Rights, Social Constitutional Law.
