Government of Canada Sponsors DECENTRALIZED 2019

Bringing Canada to Europe’s premier blockchain event through speakers and participants

The University of Nicosia is proud to welcome the Government of Canada to the growing number of international sponsors that will be participating in its premier blockchain and digital currency event, DECENTRALIZED 2019, which will be held in Athens, Greece, between 30 October and 1 November.

More specifically, the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service is partnering with the DECENTRALIZED team to bring Canada to the event through speakers and participants. Moreover, The Embassy of Canada in Athens is facilitating a special programming component, which includes scheduled B2B meetings and networking opportunities with key Greek and European contacts during the conference. This will assist Canadian participants (including investors, technology developers and academics working in this dynamic space) to meet the right people in advancing the commercialization of their technology through international investment or partnership, as well as in cultivating their academic relationships in the region.

Canada thus joins an expanding number of local and international speakers, exhibitors and other supporters, who will come together over three days under the banner of delineating and, ultimately, realizing the next steps in our Decentralized future.
