Talk Abstract: Info-Communication globalization, social media and digital payments are part of our everyday life. Social media and digital payments become a fact of life for civil society worldwide, involving many actors – politicians, activists, non-governmental organizations, info-communication firms, software providers and political parties. This raises obvious questions for the role of digital technologies, the recent cultural crisis, cloud computing, banking services and the Global Info-Cash (GIC). As the info-communication landscape gets more complex and chaotic, regular citizens/users/consumers are gaining access to digital entertainment, information and education anywhere and at anytime. Why?
Because, social media, mobile phones and digital payments are breaking traditional business structures by setting up the info-communication landscape networks in free market economy. Within this context we introduce the info-communication landscape as a global digital place for developing the Code of Digital Transactions (CODTRA) and the Global Info-Cash (GIC) in the info-communication globalization.
The Greek crisis is an opportunity, not a barrier, in that it provides the country with a platform from which distinctive solutions can emanate. Greek political and economic culture should be reformed due to recent monetary crisis in order Greece to be an active player in the info-communication globalization.
