Dr Christoforos Giannaki is a Lecturer with the Department of Life and Health Sciences at the School of Sciences and Engineering. Having joined the University of Nicosia in 2010, he is an active academic, passionate about his chosen field of exercise and health, engaged in research initiatives with academics from Cyprus and abroad.
Dr Kyriacos Felekkis joined the University of Nicosia in 2011 and is currently Head of Department of the Department of Life and Health Sciences at the School of Sciences and Engineering of the University of Nicosia. Over the course of our conversation, it quickly becomes evident that he is not a fan of standing still. Indeed, he is driven by the pursuit of new knowledge and opportunities, all while maintaining a friendly and easy-going demeanour. He believes that a society without research and innovation is destined to remain indolent.
This year’s “Feel Good Festival”, with our motto “Only Good Vibes”, will have raffle tickets, food, music, dancing and sports activities where everybody can enjoy.
The Debate Club is looking for potential candidates to join and participate in a range of different activities including speeches, presentation of arguments or even partaking in contests or competitions.
“Bioclimatic Architecture and Cyprus” sets out to demonstrate that bioclimatic architecture is a viable energy-saving concept which can be applied in the context of Cyprus through both research and hands on examples.
