Ruben is a Data Science Lead at OMP, where he focuses on improving forecasting using statistical and machine learning algorithms. With over 6 years of experience, he provides analytical support to clients, coaches junior data scientists, and designs new forecasting tools for OMP software. Ruben is also deeply involved in research on demand forecasting and frequently presents at conferences. Prior to OMP, he completed a PhD in Business Statistics at KU Leuven, where his dissertation focused on robust estimation techniques for time series and regression models. Ruben has a strong background in Python, R, and statistical modeling, and he teaches business statistics and time series analysis to students.
