Nicoletta Kaparti

Dr Nicoletta Kaparti is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Veterinary Internal Medicine and Critical Care at the University of Nicosia School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr Kaparti graduated from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno, Czech Republic, in 2013. She has been a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons since 2015. After gaining extensive experience in small animal veterinary clinics in the United Kingdom, Dr Kaparti obtained a postgraduate certificate in Small Animal Medicine. She subsequently transitioned to working in out-of-hour hospitals, where she primarily managed emergency and critical cases. In 2022, Dr Kaparti earned a certification in Emergency and Critical Care. She is currently managing ‘AdVets’, a mobile veterinary service based in Cyprus.

Her research interests include the non-invasive diagnosis of endocrinological disorders particularly feline hyperthyroidism and the advanced use of diagnostic imaging in critically ill patients.
