UNIC Medical Centre has developed an extremely helpful diagnostic tool for COVID-19. The online tool can determine whether a person is a suspected COVID-19 case and gives instructions on what to do next. In addition, it outlines the next steps for confirmed cases and for those who are in self-isolation.
The Director of the Medical Centre and Clinical Assistant Professor of General Practice Dr Anastasis Sioftanos commented:
‘In view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the pressure it imposes on the dedicated help lines such as 1420, we decided to develop an online diagnostic tool which the public can utilise remotely to check their symptoms, but also to determine what the local health protocols suggest for the management of COVID-19.’
