Dr Apostolos Kourtis is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Finance and the Head of the Finance Group at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia, UK. His research areas include investment management, forecasting, blockchain finance and cryptocurrency markets, corporate finance, mathematical modelling and scientific computing. His work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of Empirical Finance and the Financial Review. His research has also been featured in popular media outlets, such as the Financial Times, Bloomberg and the Telegraph. Apostolos read for his doctorate at the Athens University of Economics and Business. Prior to his doctoral studies, Apostolos obtained an MSc in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Athens.
