Navigating AI: Ethics, Innovation, and Student Success at the University of Nicosia

Essential topics in artificial intelligence and its implications for academia and student life were explored during this online talk done by Dr Chris Alexander – the head of the AI Learning Centre.

Dr Chris Alexander reviewed emerging AI trends anticipated for 2025, providing attendees with insights into new developments in the field. A key focus was the ethical use of AI, emphasising the responsible integration of these tools into student work and academic practices. The presentation examined the evolving relationship between generative AI and human creativity, highlighting shifts in roles and oversight within educational settings. Additionally, Dr Alexander introduced a variety of innovative AI tools designed to enhance learning, productivity, and career development.
