Profile
Chad Schou is an Assistant Professor of Anatomy at the University of Nicosia Medical School.
Dr Schou holds a BA in Chemistry (specialization in Biochemistry) and an MSc in Plant Biology from Southern Illinois University (USA), a Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare and Biomedical Education (PgCert HBE) from St. George’s, University of London (UK), and a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Nicosia (Cyprus).
His research interests include the investigation of antibacterial and antiparasitic properties in endemic Cypriot flora, with particular focus on the development of plant-derived compounds to combat human pathogens. In addition, he is interested in medical education and human anatomy.
