Join us for a public round table under the Breath IN Project and the University of Nicosia Environmental Health Research Centre (EHRC).
Air quality affects health across daily life: outdoors in our neighbourhoods and cities, and indoors in our homes, schools, and workplaces. Pollutants from vehicle emissions, industry, fires, heating, and agriculture all contribute to outdoor air quality and find their way into indoor spaces. Indoors, air quality is further affected by cooking, furnishings, cleaning products, pesticides, and mould. In Cyprus, outdoor air is also uniquely impacted by high concentrations of dust, with real consequences for population health and quality of life.
This round table brings together expertise in policy, air quality services, and public health to discuss the health impacts of air pollution, how to interpret air quality data, and practical steps to reduce exposure.
The event will take place in person at the University of Nicosia and online via Zoom, on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, 6:00–7:30 pm EET.
