Dr. Constantinos Adamides is an Associate Professor of International Relations – with focus on security studies – and the Associate Head of the Department of Politics and Governance at the University of Nicosia, where he also serves as the Director of the Diplomatic Academy.
Dr. Adamides frequently works with the Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs, as well as the National Guard. Furthermore, he was also appointed by President Anastasiades as a Member of the first Geostrategic Council of the Republic of Cyprus (2014-2018), contributing to the development of reports and analyses for the President on issues pertinent to geopolitical developments.
Constantinos holds a PhD in Political Science and International Studies, an MA in Diplomacy and International Relations and MBA in Finance. His research interests revolve around security, securitization, future of warfare, cyber security, Cyprus conflict.
