What do developments in AI and cybersecurity mean for our organisation?

Through the AI Learning Centre, we’re introducing a news workflow to help colleagues stay informed and turn relevant reporting into useful knowledge.

Our current priority is cybersecurity news involving AI: security concerns affecting AI tools, AI-assisted attacks, and developments in AI for cyber defence. The workflow can also be adapted for broader cybersecurity monitoring by changing the sources, topics and prioritisation criteria.

AI agents review reporting from more than 30 cybersecurity sources, group repeated coverage and prioritise relevant developments. We’re refining the source selection and relevance criteria while retaining broader reporting where it provides useful context.

The briefings bring together:

-- A high-level overview of themes in the reporting.
-- Prioritised stories, including affected technologies, reported exploitation and stated risk levels.
-- Explanations of why developments may matter, potentially relevant teams, and links to the original sources.

For colleagues, this could mean a practical awareness example based on AI-assisted phishing, a technical update on the security of an AI tool, or a plain-language briefing for leadership.

Selected intelligence builds a historical knowledge base. Over time, AI can help us explore recurring themes, reported attack methods and technologies receiving increased attention across the sources we monitor.

These are AI-generated briefings for learning and awareness. After publication, colleagues can validate significant findings against the linked sources, provide feedback and help refine future briefings.

The briefings support learning and awareness; they do not replace formal vulnerability-management, incident-response or security decision-making processes.

Established services such as Recorded Future, Flashpoint, SecurityScorecard and Feedly Threat Intelligence provide different forms of cyber intelligence. Our workflow is intended to complement such services through reporting tailored to our organisation’s learning and awareness priorities.
