TEwT Success: The Journal of Teaching English With Technology is now 94th percentile on SCOPUS!

TEwT’s 24th YEAR!

The Journal of Teaching English with Technology (TEwT) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal that primarily focuses now on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). TEwT is dedicated to presenting cutting-edge research and practical applications of AI technologies that enhance English language teaching and learning.

We are excited to share that the 2024 Scopus rankings have just been released, and The Journal of Teaching English with Technology (an AI-focused TESOL journal) has achieved significant milestones.

The journal's ranking in the Language and Linguistics category has improved by 13 positions, now standing at 61 out of 1126, with its percentile rising from 93 to 94. Moreover, it is now officially ranked in Q1 for the Education category in 2024.

We are also pleased to report that the journal is starting June 2025 with a CiteScore of 6.9 (meaning it is in the top 30 journals with a percentile of 98), indicating continued momentum and even greater expectations for the upcoming year’s rankings.
