What our Students Say

The veterinary medicine programme prepares me for a productive career within the veterinary medical profession, while at the same time gives me a strong academic foundation to pursue a research career option. The experienced faculty, personal tutors, and career advisors are invaluable in shaping my education and my journey from student to a successful veterinarian.

Rebecca Panayi, Class of 2027, Cyprus

This programme offers, through field trips, a unique opportunity to visit animal husbandry farms from year one and gain hands-on experience. I find these experiences critical for developing a well-rounded understanding of veterinary medicine, and for gaining invaluable practical skills that can be applied in my future professional endeavours.

Bshara Haddadin, Class of 2027, Jordan

The anatomy lab facilities for the DVM programme have been a standout highlight of my education. The state-of-the-art equipment and technology used in the lab allow for hands-on learning experiences that are both engaging and effective. In addition, the lab instructors are knowledgeable and passionate about their work, and they go above and beyond of what is required to ensure that each student understands the material thoroughly.

Mark Wahba, Class of 2027, Canada

Upon arriving at the UNIC campus, I was warmly welcomed by the faculty and staff, who have created an engaging learning environment. The programme is challenging, and I am certain it will equip me with the necessary knowledge and skills for a successful career in veterinary medicine. My classmates and I have grown close, sharing daily laughs and support in our shared passion for animals. UNIC also offers many volunteer opportunities that allow us to contribute to the community while enhancing our professional skills.
