What is Claude 2?
Claude 2 is an advanced version of an AI chatbot named Claude AI, developed by the AI safety-focused company Anthropic. It was first introduced in April 2022. The company's guiding principle is to create AI systems that are beneficial for humans and adhere to a framework that mitigates potential adverse effects, which might arise from unregulated AI systems. This methodology is termed as Constitutional AI, and it takes inspiration from globally accepted principles like the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
In terms of function and style, Claude AI shares similarities with Google Bard and ChatGPT. Claude 2, the enhanced version, was launched in July 2022. Its primary upgrades are manifested in its better conversational skills and deeper comprehension of contexts. Moreover, compared to the original model, Claude 2 has twice the parameters, increasing from 430 million to 860 million.
