ERASMUS is without doubt the world’s most successful mobility programme. It allows students, faculty and staff of European Universities to spend time in another EU institution.
This mobility programme was established in 1987 and since its inception approximately 2.5 million students were funded to study abroad, while roughly 250.000 teachers received support to undertake teaching assignments throughout Europe. It is estimated that, on average, a person embarks on Erasmus Exchange every three minutes!
Over time, Erasmus has expanded to include student placements, administrative staff mobility and Intensive Programmes (IPs).
As you can see, you can benefit from Erasmus in many different ways, and we here at the Unic Erasmus Office can help you decide which option suits you best.
