Social Work Programme Structure

The Social Work Programme is mainly based on Social Work courses. However, input from allied disciplines such as Sociology, Psychology and Law are important for a more comprehensive development of human behaviour and change.

The Social Work curriculum is based on three clusters of courses :

–        Essential Foundation Courses
–        Social Work Courses
–        Practicum fieldwork courses

The curriculum assures that graduates:

–        are well prepared for their professional practice at the local or international environment
–        have developed competences of generalist practice and a strong basis for future specialisation and/or postgraduate studies
