Short Courses for Professionals
Certificate for Practice Supervisors
This course is currently under accreditation and it is the only post qualifying course in social work in Cyprus.
It is designed to equip social work practitioners engaged in practice teaching and clinical supervision to develop the knowledge, values and skills necessary to competently execute the demands of the role.
It is intended to offer the programme to individuals who are employed as social workers and who wish to study part-time. The reflective design, delivery and assessment of the course will ensure that participants can simultaneously develop their competencies academically and experientially.
The content of the programme has been established to meet the requirements of the Social Work Programme for practice supervisors but also to offer the opportunity to professionals to develop skills for peer supervision in their agencies.
