Role and Responsibilities

The unit’s work in promoting and encouraging innovation and excellence will be a catalyst in the growth of networks and collaborations across the institution. PSU’s key roles are:

Participating in funded projects
Offer training to new and existing faculty
Disseminate effective practices for teaching and learning
To ensure sustained and effective multiple direction flow of communication between the PSU of and faculty and students
To develop quality models and indicators for teaching and learning
To create a sustainable environment that drives continual pedagogical improvement among faculty, and engaging students in innovative learning environments.
To promote a university culture that encourages the creation of learning environments in which diverse students can excel, thus advancing UNIC’s mission of excellence in teaching and learning
To organize conferences and workshops in the subject area
To encourage research and publications between academic staff in Teaching and Learning at University level
